William & Mary
Unfortunately for you, I will use tumblr as a resource for slowly revealing my school plans for 2010.
As you may have guessed (and experienced) applying for graduate school is (unnecessarily) costly. Today I was pleased to receive my first fee waiver. It hails from the Dean of Admissions at William & Mary. I didn’t expect any fee waivers, so this was a nice surprise.
I don’t have strong feelings about the school. Initially, I’m inclined to like it only because it is the oldest law school in the United States. There’d be something comforting about studying US History and Law in a cultural and historical hub.

the woes of working
After working all day, I find it difficult to blog at night. This is why my tumblr is so sparse.

Lawyer Hot
I finally have career aspirations. I hope I can cut it. It should be noted that several people at my current firm have noted that I will be “law school hot”. I hope this is true.

OBSERVATION IN JAPAN 1.5
Most Japanese food has either some sort of egg or mayonnaise on it.
I was going to visit Japan, but I have since changed my mind.

Beautiful, Damned
I’m almost finished with Fitzgerald’s The Beautiful and the Damned. The novel takes place in Manhattan and the outlying suburbs of New York. I like that I can connect with the setting. For example, this weekend, as I was traveling to Tarrytown, the novel referenced Tarrytown. While some have a habit of blogging, I have a habit of online shopping. I must quit ordering books until I finish some of the books I have piling up.
